Approximately 105 lost.įrigate USS Insurgent lost with all hands, presumably in a gale after leaving Hampton Roads on 8 August 1800, bound for the West Indies. Last seen 20 August 1800 when she departed for the West Indies. Brig USS Pickering presumably sank with all hands in a gale in September 1800.
